KEM 7 short worldwide recognition

Below the Window, the graduation short film by KEM 7 students has been receiving numerous recognitions worldwide.

The producer Katniss Tung Cheng and director Salvador Alejandro Gutiérrez have been recently nominated by the Sony Future Filmmaker Awards. The prestigious award received over 8,400 submissions from +5,000 filmmakers across 148 countries and territories. Salvador and Katniss will take part in a four-day industry workshop organised by the award in Los Angeles. The winners will be announced on May 30, 2024, during a black-tie Awards ceremony at the historic Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City.

Apart from this, the director Salvador Alejandro Gutiérrez was also nominated for the 2024 Emerging Directors Awards in the Student Film category.

Below the Window, was also screened at Cluj Shorts ISFF as part of the Official Selection in April in Romania.
