Kino Eyes Alumni receives an Award in Canada

Clare Fogerty who in June 2017 graduated from the first Kino Eyes class was recently in Canada for GPIFF – Golden Panda International Film Festival.

Clare was there to pitch some of her new projects that she has been developing with other Kino Eyes alumni. The judges included Bo Svenson, Steven Nemeth of Rhino Films, and Alibaba Pictures and China Lion Distribution, among other top professionals. She was awarded with the Creative Spark, an award given to best pitch.

Clare met with some investors during the festival so we expect to have some great news in the near future.

Kino-eyes short "Roof knocking" wins prize for best short at Cairo Film Festival

Kino-eyes graduation Film "Roof knocking" has just been awarded with prize for best short film at the closing ceremony of Cairo Film Festival held on the 30th of November in Cairo.

Cairo Film Festival is an A class festival and the most prestigous film festival in the middle east. The jury was moved by the compelling story of a palestinian family warned to leave their home minutes before the Israeli army bombs it. The sucess of "Roof Knocking" follows on kino eyes films recent list of selection and prizes in festivals around the world.
