Abstract

The terrorist attack on World Trade Center’s Twin Tower in New York, USA on September 11, 2001 changed the geopolitics of the world entirely. That one event in the recent history left probably the longest lasting effect on every sphere of life of contemporary human race. Since the attack was claimed to be conducted by Islamic Terrorist group Al Qaeda, one of the most significant after effects it caused was the rise of xenophobia, more specifically ‘Islamophobia’.
