“The Two Halves” won the first prize in the "Bendita Tú" Film Festival in Madrid. This is a film festival for works directed by women.
“The Two Halves”, a self-portrait from our student Gwenn Joyaux, was awarded with one of the first prizes at the Capturing Freedom Short Film Contest. There were submitted 1,100 films from 90 countries and this year's theme was "The Power of Woman." But there’s more, the film was also selected to the Festival Preview in Barcelona, so hopefully this prize is the first of many.

June 20th and 21st will forever stay in Kino Eyes history as the days when the first graduation films were screened and the Official Graduation Ceremony took place. This happened in Tallinn at the SuperNova Cinema in the Baltic Film Media Arts and Communication School and at the Tallinn University Ceremonial Hall.
Academic Board and staff from Kino Eyes all attended the ceremony and the first intake ended with a celebration in a very special place near Tallinn where both students and teachers, who started this great experience of a joint master in film, could toast to their diploma.
