“The Two Halves” won the first prize in the " Bendita Tú" Film Festival in Madrid. This is a film festival for works directed by women.

Few days ago we had the great pleasure to welcome the Producer and Director Alan Poul, winner of various awards such as Emmy or Golden Globe,  to a very interesting and much enlightening talk with Kino Eyes students.

Not only he talked about his past and future projects, but also discussed the film and television industry with our students and teachers.

Alan Poul has produced series such as Six Feet Under and The Newsroom and directed episodes of Rome, Big Love, The Newsroom, Six Feet Under, among others.

Needless to say that we all benefit so much from his visit and we have to say a big thank you to the American Embassy in Portugal and their great project American Film Showcase.
